LA Times say they have officially heard he has died.
BBC are using them as a source and have no confirmation of their own

Different storys, blah blah. Give it till morning and stop going crazy. Doctors HAVNT said anything as they need to abide by pateint confidentiallity unless they want a big ass fine on their doorstep.
