I have to agree that this is a ridiculous idea, particularly as any news are going to just be redirected to this (provided they have ad blocker on) and then what.. do you really think they'll read that and then think 'yeah oh, I'll turn my ad block off for this website I've never visited before' because if it was me I'd just leave and never come back . I agree that a message where the ad would be, just a message that kindly asks the user - rather than forcing the user - to turn ad block off would be much better and I'm sure users would prefer that too.

but same time it's not going to hurt.... and don't see how it wouldn't help, people would be more willing to pay for VIP than donator for the extra features so every £1 is so many hundred clicks on ads probably.


Set VIP to something like £1.50, £1.75 or £2

So extra reason to participate and win in competitions if it's only available through it and not just spending a few quid.

I, for example, have bought VIP in the past - but have never bought donor. And I doubt I'm the only one.

The main feature of VIP+ was so that they could switch colours regardless and do it themselves. Anything else was pretty much the same as normal VIP. Unless you can think of features that will make people buy it? Apart from bigger avatars as that doesn't work on the skins we have.
