    Ignore any mistakes, I literally loaded the plane and took off, circled around and joined the ILS for a landing just to test the recording software.

    What fps did you get with fraps rec and not rec?

    Without fraps recording it can between anywhere from 14 FPS to 45 FPS, I have it locked it to 50 If I remember correctly. All depends on the plane, weather and other scenery. Recording I would say a stable 25.

    I am looking into upgrading my card but have no idea what to go for at the moment or of its even worth it. FSX is a bit of a nightmare at times haha

    Can someone who plays this a lot recommend me a joystick to make this game usuable? As cheap as possible, but one that will work well?

    I have a Saitek ST290 Pro, Got it off ebay a couple of years ago for £3 if I remember correctly, its a great stick.

    Just took off from Leeds Bradford:
