Man, COD4 is so good online WHEN you have a decent server, that is hard to find in Australia though, IMO.

I like both, but more regular TDM.

Hardcore is good for using guns with low damage and easy for completing challenges and getting those crucial 1 shot kills with Bolt Action Rifles/ Shotguns.

Regular TDM is good for using SMG, because if you this in HC, you'll die quicker, because HC has more bullet damage. If noob is using MP40 in HC for example.

Regular all the way, I prefer playing a game that rewards skill rather than something that doesnt require you to aim. One shot with a shotgun to the foot just doesnt seem logical to me.
WaW in general is terrible, everything bar the SMG's are terrible. I went on yesterday and I spawned in front of an enemy like 4 times in 1 game.

I haven't unlocked all of them yet but mine has got to be either;
Gewehr 43 [No addons].
Thompson [aperture sight]
MP40 [aperture sight].

MP40 by far, but that doesnt mean you should use it. I find playing with handicapped weapons in CoD4 like the Skorpion, M60, M14, Shotguns, MP44 and getting a good score is by far more satisfactory than getting a good score with a M16.
MP40 is the M16 of World At War. It has a glitch where each bullet is 40-50 damage will the other smg's stand at 20-30 damage. 2 Bullets even with juggernaut and your could be down.
