    The models so far look ok for the level of modelling you're at right now although i have to be brutal here and say that the carrot really doesn't cut it, i'm pretty sure you can do a lot better than that, rather than opting for the easy method of using primitives, try being a little more adventurous and use a loft nurbs or boxmodel method instead, it might mean more work but small challenges like these are ideal for trying out new techniques.
    -Nods- And people wonder why i only use Ms paint Techinical jargon confuses me.

    Anyway, parasols, brillient as usual, i havn't looked through the whole thread but what i see i like. Hmm... reckon you could do my sheep? ;]

    nice sheep, but i dopn't think that it is necessary to make it 3D, cause i saw so much 3D sheeps, that would be nothing special...
