Wrong, entirely. Please learn something about the topic before posting yeah? A phobia is an irrational fear or hatred of something. Also it's not immature, it's something that many people can't help. If you take homophobia personally then really it's about as clever as being offended that someone doesn't like the shape of your nose - it's not something they control.

Yes but it stemmed from your earlier statement that a hatred (or dislike as you say) of gays is not the same thing as homophobia, which it is. Ergo, disliking them "for no reason" is clearly homophobia as it's irrational, and therefore nothing to do with immaturity.

I actually think being homaphobic is immature, as we're in a world where people everywhere and all around us are gay, bisexual, lesbian, or even transgender. In the 1950's it was never heard of because so many people thought it was wrong. however now where people are more open minded, people are proud of it. Most homaphobics think immediately that if somone is gay, they fancy a straight person, or they think that they are going to touch them.

Ask yourself this:
Your freind comes out to you, do you immediately think that he fancies you?
