I would say it is exceedingly ignorant to infer that all Americans are power hungry. Ambitions for control in both European and American societies are not different.

You've picked a poor example to show a North American, who has learned for years in school how our people rebelled against yours who wanted to maintain power with your appointed assemblies. Additionally the empire size was reduced because of war (in which you wanted to keep all the power) and because of economic concerns.

The fact that you can't post on topic. Read the rules numnuts. Like I said "I forgot this wasn't a history lesson". I dropped history when I was in school for a good reason, and to be honest, your reason of why the empire size was reduced is appalling if you studied such a subject. I wasn't refering to Britain being power hungry, I was refering to the USA. How the hell did Britain come in to this? Another thing totally of topic. Incase you wondered, "Maybe they should of sorted this out before they merged.
