    Watched the official stream on my iPod Touch and had nothing but trouble with it tbh, it was constantly lagging, pausing and at times redirecting me to some video stream of a theatre, what's up with that?

    Ok the Shuffle is much better and looks fantastic now.

    The iPod Nano, what on earth has happened there? They've removed the camera, although it was useless, it's still a step backwards which is well worth noting. The GUI doesn't really work, it's basically a tiny iPod Touch and doesn't work in that respect. What pisses me off the most though is it has a square resolution. Someone please tell me what use that is? No one has videos or photos in square resolutions, try watching a widescreen film on that and it'll look absolutely crap. Something which the previous iPod Nano's could previously do quite well.

    The iPod Touch update is pretty lame, I have the current iPod Touch 64GB and I was a little scared they'd bring out something to thrash it especially when he spoke of "radical changes", the new screen technology and useless cameras don't phase me in the slightest. No one wants to use FaceTime on their iPod Touch surely..? Or on their iPhone for that matter as video calling really isn't that popular.

    They also seem to of ditched the iPod Classic, they said they had updates to all the iPods yet missed out the Classic which they've neglected for many years now so I'm going to assume it's been axed which is a real pity due to it's awesome capacity.

    I'm also confused with all the iOS versions, it used to be quite simple and you have Steve Jobs going "We're really happy with iOS here at Apple", why do you keep pushing out updates for it all over the shop then. iOS 4 was a mega-disappointment, the folders weren't really that useful and it was a half-hearted attempt at multi-tasking. At one point he got so desperate, he was showing off how you could pause music while in the web browser on the iPad, that's revolutionary stuff!

    Ping is a load of crap, we don't need yet another social network, especially one which offers no more than any of the current ones. It also lacks connectivity with other social networks etc as Apple always enjoy closing everything off. The beauty of other social networks is how they allow apps and APIs etc. It's essentially stole the scrobbling, friend, recommendations and tour functions from Last FM. Stole the "Follow" feature from Twitter and tried to add in Facebook with the ability to post thoughts and photos etc. No one will use this and it will fail because it is useless. For example most artists have a base on Facebook and/or Twitter these days where you can get lots of info and updates from the artist. And I highly doubt it'll rival Last FM when it comes to recommendations etc.

    However I do quite like Apple TV, I always have done but it's just come across as very confusing, however it's at a very reasonable price now (Although it has lost the HDD and now just streams media so that's understandable) and I really do hope it's a success. AirPlay seems very handy, as do the cheaper rentals and how they've incorporated the likes of Netflix into it.

    Wasn't really, it was a little over an hour, which most keynotes from Apple are.

    I had no problems with the stream, and the new Apple TV is only $99! As I say, I'm not so much a hater of the iPad now either..

    EDIT: WTH Apple, $99 != £99!

    its $99, but also £99. nice rip off on our end at the minute. although, doing what ive done previously, they dont add on tax, so, £64.09 plus 17.5% tax, = £75, so we're still getting a bit ripped off

    oh you edited

    i hadnt worked out the tax then lol, i did see it though

    we're losing out on about £15, because they'd have to do import tax, as well as covering for currrency fluctuations.

    Or for an extra £50 buy an Xbox 360 4GB with storage, USB input, DVD player, 1080p support and a entire games console. Plus Hulu and Netflix for the yanks.

    EDIT: Plus Media Center Extender abilities which means live TV which a product that contains the word TV does not support.
