Tats are sposed to have meanings imo, and most of these are just because you want to look cool.

I'm getting my first tattoo next week on my ribcage, and its got a deep meaning, ill post pictures when its done

Well i thought i may aswel make a thread as quite a few people are asking about tattoo's i've got 3 so just post all your tattoos

You looking to be unemployed Ross? But as for myself, I don't have a tattoo nor would I ever consider one - they remind me of African tribes where they stick things in ears/noses etc and paint one another - a very alien idea to the west.

Body markings (tattoos) and the types of piercing/inserts such as 'plugs' are alien to this country, yes.

But yeah anyway most of our customs and practises are imported, so bit of a daft argument to be having I do agree that having random "tribal" patterns done when you're clearly whiter than chalk and have no links to any tribe other than your council estate is stupid though

i really really dislike tribal tattoo's and all they stand for on white british men.

Pre-Christian tattoos are exactly my point, the world we live in is shaped (mostly) by Christianity - i'd like it to stay like that, not go backwards with men and women colouring themselves in with pretty patterns or badges to the new religions of football and celebrity.

They strike me as daft, just as they will strike most of the people who have them done when the reach the age of 30.
