For this directed study, where do you do it? In a class with a teacher? If not, they're just free periodsI start this timetable at Sixth Form tomorrow, we've been on a induction day(s) timetable for the past two days
Monday: Psychology, Theatre Studies, Maths, Directed Study, Directed Study
Tuesday: Directed Study, Personal Tutor, Theatre Studies, Maths, English Language
Wednesday: Theatre Studies, Directed Study, Psychology, English Language, Directed Study, Directed Study
Thursday: Directed Study, Psychology, Directed Study, English Language, Maths
Friday: Maths, English Language, Psychology, Theatre Studies, Directed Study
Directed Study is basically a 'free' lesson where you're meant to do homework/coursework for your subjects. If you have one first thing in the morning then you get to go in later than you usually do and if they are at the end of the day you get to go home early![]()
i've basically got graphic design, film studies & photography everyday other than tuesday with LOTS of annoying breaks
You're meant to do homework and/or coursework during the direct study periods in the FYI (Library) or FYI Express but if you don't have anything to do then they are free periods
I guessOur sixth form gave us free periods instead of your method because we have to learn to become responsible for our own learning, or something like that
