Not quite sure I follow you on that.. the Picts and English didn't really communicate with anything other than warcries, so I don't think they sat down and debated about names for a country.

I'll accept that in part, because I know that the Scots did hold back the English at a certain point, at which the English were forced to make the boundaries. However it was still the English decision :8 This is really just an argument of pride now.. all the facts have already been said.

We make up the UK yeah, so if someone knows of England, they are most likely going to know of Scotland too, they're just as well known as each other.
Scotland isn't lol, I speak to a lot of people from other countries and they say their more familier with england than scotland. They know a lot more places in england etc. More goes on in england. I dont know why it just does? No countries better than another but tbh i dont think scotland should be called a country nor should england because they both make up england their just part of a country.

Yeah, England "decided" on something that was already set?
They just wanted it to look like they had some say in it.
And the whole naming the country thing, i refuse to accept that naming the country means they "invented it".

This whole England inventing scotland thing just proves that Scotland's reason for hating England is pretty fair, because a lot of the English assume they're superior to the Scots and all that, just because they're a bigger country.

And yeah it's all about pride lol.
