So, just because it runs Spoitify in the background, it beats the iPhone? don't make me laugh. Come back when you have 100,000 apps to choose from.Just got a G2 (HTC Hero), my mum got it for me for good academic performance. I don't care much for phones to be honest, but who can say no to the T3 & Stuff Magazine Gadget of the Year and inclusive internet, oh and the Spotify app runs whilst doing other stuff so it beats an iPhone/iTouch. PS HTC Sense is awesome.

Add me if you play COD Black Ops or Fifa 11.
GET A ROOTED ROM ON THERE ASAP!Just got a G2 (HTC Hero), my mum got it for me for good academic performance. Yes it does, for these reasons:
a) 90% Of the apps on the app store are silly and people remove them or don't use them after the first day
b) Yes, running Spotify in the background is good, can you run Spotify whilst browsing the web on the iPhone? NO!
c) I won't ever need more than the 10,000 apps there are on the android market. It's not quantity, it's quality
d) Android 2.0 will comes with a free Satnav style service built on top of Google Maps
e) Expandable memory
f) It's an open platform, anyone can publish what they want, you can even change core system components
g) Google Android has pointless gun apps too... xoxo
h) Opera Mini

Wow, are they really? cause I've only seen one or two pointless apps, I use all my apps, they're all great.
What good would it be 'running in the background'? it's doing nothing. Also, I don't use Spotify, so I don't know if it does run in the background, ever heard of Push Notifications? (btw, I have iTunes build in instead, do you? oh nooo!!) xoxoxob) Yes, running Spotify in the background is good, can you run Spotify whilst browsing the web on the iPhone? NO!
Is it just a coincidence that you need 10,000 apps? I'd rather have 100,000 with the same apps and have the choice of which one I would want, thanks. I like my quantity and quality choice over what you get on Android. xoxoxoc) I won't ever need more than the 10,000 apps there are on the android market. It's not quantity, it's quality
Wow, bit behind aren't they? had that since 2007 on FW 1.xd) Android 2.0 will comes with a free Satnav style service built on top of Google Maps
xoxooxox
I don't really need expandable memory when I've got 16GB built in.e) Expandable memory
I fail to see how this is a benefit, I'd rather have the professionals do it for me.f) It's an open platform, anyone can publish what they want, you can even change core system components

Spotify plays music, so rather than it taking up screen space I can web browse. What good would it be 'running in the background'? it's doing nothing. I have a built in music player? Your point is?
You can spend twenty minutes trawling through your large selection of repetitive apps thenIs it just a coincidence that you need 10,000 apps? I'd rather have 100,000 with the same apps and have the choice of which one I would want, thanks. I like my quantity and quality choice over what you get on Android. xoxoxo

Have fun when you run out of space for videosI don't really need expandable memory when I've got 16GB built in.
Oh so you like the fact that Apple run a monopoly?I fail to see how this is a benefit, I'd rather have the professionals do it for me.
Do you realize the irony of what you just said?, the silly gun apps are fun!
Oh of course, Apple will allow firefox where it denied Opera :rolleyes:FireFox is coming to the iPhone soon, did you know? xoxo
Chippiewill.
you tend to watch videos once and then delete tham anyway, so who cares?Have fun when you run out of space for videos
the difference is how easy is it for you to put them on, is the sound quality any good, since i doubt theyve dedicated much into the sound of the music. I bet youll still end up carrying an ipod around with you if you have one. thats the main reason for my purchase of the iphone. It means i wouldnt need to carry around a phone and an ipod.I have a built in music player? Your point is?
It's not different, it's drag and drop the files, like it should be. And, there's other options because it's a trully open platform(Try getting another proper music player onto an iPhone without Jailbreaking)
Yup
They would, it's meant to be a stab at the iPhone
Nope, dumped the iPod the moment I got my Phone
Well done
I don't have to carry around an iPod full stop
Well, fine, when you're on holiday and can take all of 2 films because the rest is made up of Apps and Music.
