@thms; I really hope the city of light picks up from here onwards because I really want to know what's happening and I am intrigued but they're dragging their feet with it so it's become really mundane?? Well that's the problem for me anyway.

tbh i don't blame her i hope with raven involved in the city of light we'll get to see more of that storyline and hopefully, she makes it considerably better. jaha isn't going to survive this season i hope, he's grating on me slightly but his development since s1 has been incredible. as has kanes. this season has just felt like CLEXA FT. COALITION WAR 12 CLAN SKAI KRU DRAMA and i want more!!!! than!!! that!!! give me more octavia and more development for all characters like s2 gave us pleassssssse. as much as i love clexa the time jump between 2 and 3 have made it hard to just start seeing lexa as an ally, especially after her betrayal to clarke even though i 100% don't have anything against lexa doing that, she's the commaner and did it for her people. but idk something is offfff with it all i'm just venting my frustration so far and i hope you all know what i'm on about tbh. i wish we had more from the ice queen too

Mm, I thought the ice queen subplot was rushed and messily done. They could have made it much more interesting and turned her into a real villain but instead she was there for a couple of episodes and then gone. Very disappointing.

Idk I do like this season but I don't think it's been a patch on season 2 so far. Jasper's crazy and boring, the Bellamy/Clarke duo is gone and it was great because it was completely platonic but still brilliantly done (something rare in a teen show), and basically there's just no mystery anymore?? Cos last time it was like omg who are the mountain men why is clarke in a scary room what is going on.
And now it's all just misery, death, destruction, and a poorly done city of light.

idk I'm just ranting as well because I really genuinely do enjoy the show but I think they're wasting so much potential at the moment!

there's some intrigue with the city of light and i do respect that originally, it is a scifi show so this sort of pays homage to what the show was set out to be initially, but it's just confusing right now. i like the development for bellamy and clarke but they are worlds apart right now, i think bellamy is just hurting and using that hurt in the wrong ways i think this isn't the end of their dynamic though. they ARE the lead actors of this show if i had to pick two, it's interesting to see though because bellamy is right in his opinions but it didn't ever seem to bother him before but maybe he's just not okay with constantly losing people but as if war is going to help that, pike is an idiot.

i agree with the ice queens demise being very messy, especially when they mentioned her in one of lexa's early appearances which i didn't even realise until i rewatched. such a shame because brenda strong is a good actress too and it would have been an interesting role for her to explore!! they've had jasper being stupid for like 5 eps now? plus some characters appearances are inconsistent because of coalition drama so it feels like it'll take aaaages for stuff to happen for them. wouldn't surprise me if jasper joins pike at this point. we haven't seen jasper/monty since the spilling of finns ashes and that's something major???? and disrespectful? even if it was an accident LIKE I WANT TO SEE HIM BE PUT IN HIS PLACE ALREADY

It's a teen drama/scifi show but it doesn't have the awful love triangles and huge focus on romance that most teen dramas have. Well there's a bit of a love triangle quite a way in but it gets solved fast and then is never spoken about again.

After a nuclear war the earth is uninhabitable due to radiation, but about 400 people are living on a space station called the ark in the sky. Because of a limited supply of resources and air (because they are in SPACE), anyone who commits any crime no matter how insignificant is immediately sentenced to death by 'floating' (being kicked outside the ark and you die instantly) unless you are under 18 when you get shoved in a prison cell. When it's discovered the ark is running out of air, the 100 criminals are seen as expendable and are sent to the ground to see if the earth is survivable.

So they all get sent down and they find it's survivable but they're all mad at being sent down to die so they take off the wristbands that are measuring their life signs so the people on the ark think they are dying. Clarke (one of the main characters in the show) is one of the people that got sent to the down so she's a suckup and gets mad at all the delinquents taking their life wristbands off. And then it goes from there basically xxx

but I really enjoyed writing that out and thinking of when the show was better in season 1 cos it's all dull now
