Ok I made it up to the Rival's Venusaur and I reckon I might be able to beat him after leveling up maybe 1 more for each. It was so exciting tho!

Someone just gave me a shuppet and illumise for free, I was hoping theyd be rare/semi decent cos I've never heard of them (tho tbh I haven't heard of anything rlly ) but the shuppet has 0 useful moves like legit none of them do anything ; / / /
