Was the same for us, I emailed the metoffice and made up a story like I needed to know for travel arrangements and asked why there wasn't a weather warning out for us, I got this reply:

Hello,

Thank you for your concern, we where correctly misinformed with the current situation in the Grampian area, however due to the Aberdeen office staff being unable to get the office due to snow we are having slight problems with updates, we will be updating the site shorty.

I mean come on, they can't get in due to snow ***? where is the warning?!
