There is really no need to panic :S
It has been said that Mexico has poorer health than developed areas of the world like Europe and USA. Plus since the last Flu pandemic it has been well over 100 years. We have a little thing called improved technology being developed every single day.
What about the one in the late 60's?There is really no need to panic :S

Tbh, I hope Swine Flu does become a Pandemic. Would be fun.
The one in spain is confirmed now. However, in all cases outside Mexico, people who have it are only displaying mild symptoms or have fully recovered. So it's not really serious until someone dies outside Mexico/in Europe. It's still way to early to tell if it will become a pandemic yet. I personally think it will turn out to be something very minor. I mean, out of a population of over 100 million in Mexico, less than 2000 have it, and only 20 have been confirmed to have died from swine flu.
Edit: This website shows the current pandemic level. We're only at 3 right now.

"In Phase 3, an animal or human-animal influenza reassortant virus has caused sporadic cases or small clusters of disease in people, but has not resulted in human-to-human transmission sufficient to sustain community-level outbreaks. Limited human-to-human transmission may occur under some circumstances, for example, when there is close contact between an infected person and an unprotected caregiver. However, limited transmission under such restricted circumstances does not indicate that the virus has gained the level of transmissibility among humans necessary to cause a pandemic."

Doctors have already said the swine flu keeps mutating, its impossible for them to keep producing medicine that can defeat it. The Worlds Health Organisation already said theres a risk of a pandemic and could kill similar but not as much to the last one in 1918 which was 50-100m people. (So still a good million if it takes control). There is really no need to panic :S
