It isn't a bug.

I haven't checked yet but is there a way to disable this plugin from tracking which threads I view without me having to enable invisible mode?

(edit: Also is this plugin firing off an additional sql query each time it's run, or is it using a cached query. I'm only asking because for really large threads like PAPOY (if it's still around), if it's running additional queries it's going to slow down loading the page).

imo it is, it defeats the object of the point if i can't see who's viewed it, if they are appearing offline or not...

I don't think it's a plugin. There's no way to disable it other than invisible mode. Either way I expect it's quite query heavy as it has a separate list for every person depending on when they first got the feature, first got access to the thread etc.

If a user is in "Invisible" mode then obviously it wouldn't show - Hence why it isn't a bug. That would defeat the point of the invisible mode feature.

Correct in terms of it not being a plugin - It's built into vbulletin.

I can't answer that question because that is something for you to decide - It still isn't a bug regardless. Plus, it's why people are suppose to choose a letter

Seems the feature is liked but the majority want it to be limited. I've been looking in what ways it can be limited and it would be nice to know which one you think is the better option:

A) Only the thread creator can see it on the threads they have created.

B) Limit it to Announcements & Staff Forums but is disabled elsewhere.

C) All threads but only users with VIP can see it.

D) Other - If this option please explain in the thread on what you would like to see in terms of "Limited".

I dont even know if this is possible or you would be willing to do só, plus i am not able to see it in most threads, but what about instead of always seing it, you could either enable or disable it, or you could have those "show" things :S
