Not sure but now according to the media:

Boston police: Despite reports to the contrary, there has not been an arrest in the marathon attack -

They're possibly currently interviewing a suspect & they've evacuated the federal courthouse due to a bomb threat.

Bit late to this but such tragic news. There are so many graphic photos of the event released shortly after it happened (thanks reddit). One that will stick in my mind for a very long time is the image of a man being wheeled off with a severed leg clearly showing bone and a missing foot. The definition of NSFL became obvious aftert hat. This is all very haunting, and obviously big news for the simple fact this is an event which will be recorded officially and by the public, so very little will go hidden especially in a country which has a large population which will use recording devices wherever they are.

What I find a bit interesting is that quite a few Americans believe this is such big news here because it's an "international" marathon and that the world was watching - even though countries other than the US only knew of the Boston Marathon that day because of this tragic event. The only interesting info about the Boston Marathon is that it's possibly one of the oldest modern day marathons, but by no means the largest or the most popular as far as the intentional community goes. The flags of different countries are simply for decoration, much like their World Series Baseball which is only an American event.

Apparently the FBI have a potential suspect, someone dropping off a bag near the second explosion, walking away and making a phone call as the first explosion goes off. Who knows if they're right though.

FBI have released images/videos of suspects they think may have some sort of connection to the bombings.

It's sad that the suspects are of Eastern background, by the looks of them anyway, because it just means more racial profiling which the world doesn't need right now.

Michael Savage said exactly this, that I bet Obama and the White House were praying the suspect was a right-wing Tea Party member so they could then discredit the right of politics... just as what happened with the nutcase Anders Breivik (who i'm not even sure was right wing but was certainly made out to be) - sadly for the Obama administration, it looks to be another immigrant/illegal alien thanks to the out of control immigration and borders policy of the United States.

On a side note, personally I don't think anybody should be stopped in the street or profiled regardless of colour - if you haven't committed a crime and there's no reasonable grounds of suspicion to stop you then I don't think government goons have any right to stop you and ask you questions.
