    we have 2 pokestops in the class room at uni so we sit there for 2 hours with lures on them and we get all the pokemans

    UMMM I walked 10 miles today and my freskin egg hasn't even hatched? Lmao
    so can not be arsed having the app open while im walking.

    It would be nice if it talked into say Healthkit on iOS so it could take the steps from there and even maybe the Apple Watch. Then do that for whatever the alternative is on Android. But I guess this was the easiest approach for it to work on multiple devices.

    Unfortunately they never did anything like that with Ingress, but hopefully the popularity pushes them towards partnering with fitness providers such as FitBit etc.
