The name rings a bell but upon further investigation it doesn't appear to be anything I've seen. It has a pretty average score on MyAnimeList, though the plot does sound interesting. I like things set during fedual Japan and you can't go wrong with Madhouse's animation. I still can't recommend Samurai Champloo enough though. You simply will not be disappointed with that series. Well I would say they are more awesome for animating Hajime no Ippo, Death Note, Monster, Kaiji, Trigun and all of Satoshi Kon's films as well as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars. They have also worked on a few things with Gainax. I'd say they are hands down the best animation studio. Originally Posted by PaulMacC

Toei.. OP, DB, Fist of the north star, Dr slump, Saint Seiya, Slam dunk, Digimon, there all pretty big series.
Bones is good aswell.
