I say that it's basically true, but we don't NEED to kill animals to leave.
Untrue, we can survive without them, but not so well, proteans form other sorces are far less quality than meat based ones, and many of the subtitutes have some very negive effetcs.
a high soi diet is shown to cuase infertilty, and massivly increase the risk of miscarge in mothers.
kwarn has more peope alergic to it than penuts, so not that many people could realy survive to well, on that sort of diet.

And why not kill, its nature, we top preditor eat that lower down, if we dont another perodtor will, and trust me were the more humain ones "/
I agree with the ancestors thing, but now we ARE able to live without kill animals. So we kill animals for the fun of the taste ? That's terrible.
Ever wondered why most vegatians have stunted groth, and are ether over weight, or weeklings? its just some of the vegitaran helth benifits "/
We can live without them, but not very well.
Plus by stopping eating meat you would have tp pointly kill millions of animals, or the population would be unstainable, plus the fact are planets not big enogh to fit enogh farm land in to to grown enogh crops like that to feed us.
plus the fact theres no reason to to start with?

appart from a few errors in the film, the fact peta staff are in it actaing, the fact any real farmer woulnt waste time and money being crule to animals, never lown giveing films it it, and the fact they admited it, and clamed athogh it was faluce it wasnt supposed to be real, it was just trhere normal shock propganda to show what could happen (they always have a few spelling mistakes that complty change meanings of sentances, and avoide any clames to real validty, notice how vage what they say actaly is)

take a read http://www.petakillsanimals.com/index.cfm if you realy interested

Well for one, if they've stuck Pamela Anderson (out of all the people in the world) on the video set, I think most of there points are badically rubbish. Pamela Anderson has no signifficance about what happens to the poor chickens. She was oly on the video because shes a busty blonde and famous, publicity, a way of getting people to read there sotry and the campaign there trying to withhold.

As Mentor has quoted already, deep research shows that this group (PETA) does the opposite of what there campaigning about, the kill innocent animals for no reason I presume.
I'd like to know more about this now we've had a lengthly discussion.
