As exceleration said, make bonfires instead of normal fires. Nah, only joking. The only tactic to quick firemaking is to not get bored. If you're not bored, you won't mind doing more logs. I do 1k logs which takes an hour, then have an hour break, then do another 1k, then hour break, etc. It keeps me from getting bored so I won't mind doing more.

I'm about 130k xp off 93 fm. I'll only need to do like 1k logs, so I'll do them in the morning. Also, over 7m xp now.
