Just watched episode 145 and they had a little section about the anime eding and aparrently the 'final arc' business was just meant for season 3 and Gintama is actually going to start it's new season in april after the current one ends in march. Although it's hard to tell when Gintama is joking and when it isn't... I hope it's the truth though, I need more Gintama!

Gintama does come out subbed once a week... catch up to the current episodes. Crunchyroll releases the new episodes subbed every thursday one hour after it has aired in Japan. That's a whole day faster than Bleach, bish!

Don't start the island arc, the last episode of that hasn't been subbed so it's a pain watching it half complete. Just download the Itou arc, or watch the Screwdriver arc and other random episodes for now. Or just start from episode 129 and catch up to the current episodes then watch the others as they are released. Rumbel aren't exactly known for being fast subbers, so you never know how long it might take them to getting around to finishing the Itou arc despite it's length.

Yeah I've seen Haruhi. It's one of the most enjoyable series I have ever seen, so I'd definitely recommend it. There is also like three different orders to watch it in. Aired order which is non sequential (well half of it is anyway), in chronological order or in the DVD order. I was always told it's best to watch in the aired order, so thats what I watched it in but I don't suppose it matters much. I think Nail watched it in chronological order.

...and whats this, you're actually using MyAnimeList yourself!?

EDIT: It's confirmed, Gintama isn't ending and is going to enter it's fourth season in April. That's another 50 episodes at the least, as long as it doesn't get cancelled. Which it shouldn't! Viva la Gintama!

By the way Nail, Kadokawa Anime are currently airing two Haruhi spin off series on their YouTube account. Thought you might want to check them out if you haven't already.

    Melancholy of Haruhi-chan 1
    Melancholy of Haruhi-chan 2
    Melancholy of Haruhi-chan 3

    Nyoron Churuya-san 1
    Nyoron Churuya-san 2
    Nyoron Churuya-san 3

They seemed to have removed episode 1 of both spin offs, but I'm sure you can find it somewhere.

By the way, the main character in the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is voiced by the same guy who voices Gintoki. :8
