Chris Brown is an all arounder, how dare you compare him to Rihanna or say she is bigger then him. He is one of the biggest male stars in RNB.

He is a singer, song-writer, dancer, music video director and actor. His first debut song "Run It" was the first song by a male artist to reach number one. His album has been released twice and reached platnum, on its first release it got to number four on the billboard hot 100 selling 1.9 million in the united states alone. On the second release only seven months it reached number two in billboard hot 100. He doesn't sell as much as her (although he has less albums then her), but its clear he's just as popular. When you think of RNB you think of Chris Brown.

He's signed for doing a movie in fact for this year, and they still have refused to drop him even after this situation - there thinkin reasonably, this will blow over and we all know it. I don't think his next single will flop, if everyone thought like that he still wouldn't be signed to his label.

His perfomance's make up for his vocals, not that his vocals are bad when he isnt dancing around on stage making it one hell of a concert.

chris brown is one hell of a performer though , just like acts like britney and janet who make up for live vocals by having huge stage presences. i don't see that coming from rihanna. she offers nothing. i've only seen one performance by her which had one tiny spark of energy.

and actually chris has some writing credits, and has a lot more creative input than she has ever had. have you heard paper gangsta by lady gaga? that says all you'll ever want to know about defjam.

Personally I think he does pretty well, his concerts are always alive and happy. He puts on a good show and does more of a job then Rihanna in more eyes.

to be honest, both rihanna and chris brown are both good artists, both making decent music.

you cant really say chris brown is **** because looks where he is today.
and you cant say rihanna is either. even if she does have good producers etc, she still works hard. and she might not have the best vocal ability, but people might like her tone of voice, or something else when she sings. same with chris brown, even though imo hes a really good vocalist, if you dont think so, others might disagree..
