Ok, i've been starting on vatsim, and me and ma friend have been doing flights with each other, sometimes, his plane displays as a tailfin, with a ?. Sometimes, it's right plane, but with VIP as liverie.

Yet i've seen on other peoples screenshots where you can see everyone elses livery.

What do i have to do to get it so it doesn't do this?

Go to start - change aircraft - click edit and then there should be a few options to select a livery

Some times if the aircraft can't be identified fully, it will show up as triangle based aircraft with a tail fin. Make sure both of you choose an airline and the correct aircraft model like Matt has said above, although at times it show up as the VIP style.

What you mean by properly? That you can't see the aircraft fully? Or you can see a plane but it shows as VIP or that tail fin. Screenshot?
