    Which is true also because all Twr is meant to do is given landing and take off clearances and watch the VFR which should be clearly visible.

    Which is why, pilots are usually asked to report 4DME

    Plus, flight stips are used for all aircraft so they know where they are!!

    Like the other day in real, the tower controller was watching us with binoculars.. We was on base leg, but still 1200ft so we extended it by turning left to loose height and the controller got all worried "Solo zero five are you still inbound?" "Affirm, loosing height" "Ahh" - Nice to know they do watch though

    Yeah it is, however I was listening to east mids the other day and the TWR was getting worried about an aircraft that was going north for long eaton exit, he went through a cloud and the controller was like GABCD report position, GCD report posistion. Was quite funny because I could see the a/c all the time lol.
