^ Is Habbox Crumbeling? ^

The reason for why I made this thread was because there were many recent bannings and departures from Habbox that it seemed odd :s

As you can see, I tend not to go on Habbo anymore I don't really keep up with it all nowdays.

Aslong as Habbox has it's userbase it won't fail. It's impossible...

This site was as big as any site got over a tmy 'scene' this site would of got 5million hits in a year, Habbox has been runnning for 2-3 years now?

Now its probably not even in the top 10 best sites, rarely gets updated, fabase has left to bigger and better sites. And why was this? Because the staff went over the top with bannings.

Whats wrong with abit of banter, its what makes the site, ok Habbox gets ALOT of banter compared to over my scene, but thats because most of the members on here are alot less mature, the avarage age on this site seems to be about 9:rolleyes:

But lokoing through some of these posts, from what I hear some of the most respected people all over habbo (Even I remember people like jrh and DJ-3000) have been baned for what swearing? REmember no fanbase is permenent and Habbox is lucky it dosent have another rival that isnt a stand alone forum.

And on that not ill leave you with this quote, it seems to fit perfectly with this discusion, the warning signs are here, cahnge before its too late....

I think the one thing that has annoyed me over the last while (it's been a few months since our last scene review I think) is all the talk of sites merging, un-merging, merging again, staff changes and general corporate talk. We've been guilty of it for such a long time ourselves actually and I'm trying to make sure that we move away from that.

The game we cover is meant to be just that - a game. And games are meant to have a fun element to them. So why aren't the fansites the same? I don't know. Perhaps there is this level of responsibility and of being in a position of authority that gets in the way of realising what you are actually meant to get across with your site.

Whats the point of owning a forum if the ones that put all their heart and soul into making it a better place are the ones that get banned or resign?
Take a look at the announcements page....clearly Habbox isn't as strong as Sierk makes out.

Well i think its going down hill the reason i was fired today was because i was being rude to staff and forum members. The worst thing i probably said today was...*drum roll* DIPSTICK! so you no thats the reality of Habbox now adays.
Also my messenger account has been frozen by the idiot tasha and JackHB seems to think thats perfectly ok, that some1 has mucked up my msn account is that the sort of person who should be help running habbox, i really dont think so. what a shambles it is with the likes of rupsie working there.

Actually i never said it was ok, it just made me laugh :p but not once did i say it was perfectly ok.
If you mess with people like Tasha then she will mess with you back - It's common sense really. So if you mess with someone you should be willing to take what they throw back.
And....rupsie is a good staff member, and is loyal. He stuck with Habbox through its bad times, so to me that makes him a good staff member instead of running off.
