He has the ability to turn into a spirit, and hide himself in an object. That was Lucy, she must know about it, thats why she shot him. So they could start all over. As for the titanic, the 9th doctor may have said he was there, but it could have been just an earlier incarnation

Yeah, Russel TDavies said he didn't like that Master, he claimed he prefered writing about monsters with guns. Basically he wanted him killed off, but when another writer decides to bring him back, he left it open for them with the ring.

i thought the fact the humans where the balls really dumb

Here is what i thought the storyline should have been:

The balls are timelords from The matrix (big timelordbio database) And that tardis paradox machine is allowing them to come back in time from the matrix, before the timewar. The master blackmails them and control them to build his new timelord empire. Finally at the end, The doctor still does the same thing, this frees the timelord from his control. And the rest i couldnt be bothered to think of
