Fact is, 60m for Kaka, the same if not more for Ronaldo, I'd say about 70m, ribery about 50m, xabi alonso about 20m and villa about 35m, now then - that's 235m.

So, RvN will go for about 5m at most, Robben about 15m, VdV about 10m, Diarra about 5m, Heinze about 2p.

It's not going to work unless they have massive cash reserves.

Bit pointless imo, he's not getting any younger - plus the fact we have like 183484871 strikers already.

He's a natural goalscorer that ahs proved himself in the PL and La Liga (45 goals in 60 odd games I think). If it's only 1.5m or whatever then why not? Bent will hopefully be off anyway and Pavluchenko's future is hanging by a thread. He's still a good player even though he's 32. If we get him, we may even score a goal from a corner lol. Plus his very presense is a great marketing tool overseas and attracting decent players.

Perhaps having such a big name will prove the club's ambition?
