Shame our batsmen have failed but our bowlers should be looking to get aussies out for 250 - 300. Giving them 330 - 380 lead. This test is going to have a result but maybe not the result we want. Ponting has been another failure again, time to step down as Captain after this series

Some of the players played a match against Victoria (an aussie side) and didn't do too good, but i'd have thought they would still do well again, but again it could be australia playing better. Hopefully they will bowl them out soon and with not too high a run chase.

I agree i think Ponting should step down and let someone else have a go for the next ashes series.

    Agreed...Ponting should go after this.

And I think this could sway our way if we get them out quickly now and then just bat for the win. I mean we could maybe get 517-1 again?

Hmm - looks like Australia are gonna even up as score is currently:

    Australia 268 & 309 v England 187 & 81-5

It would appear that the wicket isn't very good for batting, as Australia's scores aren't fantastic - I would say we could push it for a draw but with 5 wickets already gone this match will be over tonight.

I think give it 1 hr / 1 hr 30 mins and it'll be all over... so 1-1 and we need to then win 1 out of 2 to regain the Ashes

Done well, hopefully Strauss will get a good total as his last performances have been quite poor.
