Habbos information on The Great Unmute will start coming tomorrow, then Wednesday, etc. We reintroduce social elements in steps. Thanks!

Bobba sake, I don't have the patience to wait day after day.
Least it'll be the PM first I believe? Sure that was posted in this thread somewhere idk.

Oh for goodness sake. Don't they know we have a tournament to host? ;/
I wish they would just hurry up and stop hyping it so much.
I think what is most important is Sulake get it right, rushing into changes are when mistakes are made, they cannot afford to get it wrong. This is their one opportunity to shine, and prove to the media, parents, players and other internet sites that safety is of paramount importance.
If it takes a week or so, does it really matter?

Safety has never been of paramount important to them, and never will be. The changes will probably work or 1-2 weeks, I'm not expecting much to change.I think what is most important is Sulake get it right, rushing into changes are when mistakes are made, they cannot afford to get it wrong. meh wish they'd have unmuted us today for the olympics. glad it's happening soon though.![]()
Yes paramount was probably too strong a word, but nevertheless safety is important, and whilst money /profit has been top of their priority list, they have to up their game, and make changes. We will have to wait and see what improvements are made.
I took a look at the technology that Crisp Thinking has to offer, Sulake could benefit by using their services.

I think profit will come back in it's own way once they show improvement. As news channels will pick up on this and thus creating Habbo more publicity.
It's been an interesting week.
A question that really intrigues me is how Habbo will improve their safety? Sulake have mentioned a "world class safety system", but how realistically can it be implemented? It's going to cost them money (more so if they bring a third party/IT security company), whilst the mute has lost the company both investors and customers. No doubt profit margins will fall from the scandal too. Outsourcing to Costa Rica isn't the answer, just because it doesn't ensure the hotel stays safe at all times. Also it's been mentioned that the moderating isn't actually done on habbo - don't know if that's true, but if that happens to be the case then it's very poor on Sulake's part to defend individuals. People talk the new system (whatever its called) like how it will improve safety, but will it? Answering a few questions on internet safety isn't going to prevent sexual behaviour in the hotel.
I'd really like to see a return of the MOD/Hobba system - but this time more stringent checks on individuals applying, to prevent previous problems (power mad individuals/corruption/etc). But even then, it should be a temporary measure so a longer-term strategy of improving safety in the hotel. That should hopefully restore some confidence with investors.
Dunno - there seems to be a lot more questions that could be asked from all this.
