    Slowly progressing now - plenty of countries have suspected cases of Swine Flu.

    Swine Flu News Around The World
    Black - Deaths from Swine Flu.
    Red - Confirmed cases.
    Orange - Suspected cases.
    Blue - Random information.

    Canada - There have been six cases of swine flu confirmed in Canada so far - two in the West in British Columbia, and four across the other side of the country in Nova Scotia.

    USA - There have been 20 confirmed cases of swine flu so far in America, across the whole country. Eight New York City high school students have been infected, while the other cases are in California, Kansas, Ohio and Texas.


    Mexico - It is feared that more than 1,600 people in Mexico have contracted swine flu, with 149 deaths confirmed so far. Large parts of Mexico City have been shut down as the country attempts to control the spread of the disease.


    United Kingdom - A Canadian woman is being investigated for suspected swine flu in a hospital in Sale, Manchester.
    Meanwhile, two people who recently travelled to Mexico have been admitted to hospital in Scotland with flu-like symptoms, though they did not go to the affected areas.
    One Briton returning to Heathrow with flu-like symptoms was tested for the disease and the tests proved negative.
    Britons returning from Mexico with flu-like symptoms are being advised to stay at home and seek medical advice by telephone.


    France - French authorities are investigating four possible cases of swine flu, a woman in the Paris region and a family of three in the Nord region. All four recently returned from Mexico.
    Tests on two separate suspected cases have already proved negative.

    Spain - One case of swine flu has been confirmed in Spain, the first to be confirmed in Europe. The victim is a 23-year-old man who recently travelled to Mexico, and officials say his condition is not serious.
    Another 17 people are suspected of having the disease.


    Israel - One man is in hospital in Netanya after returning from Mexico with symptoms of possible swine flu.
    The man has been isolated and tests are being carried out on him.


    Hong Kong - One woman has been admitted to hospital with possible swine flu, following a trip to Sanfrancisco.
    Scientists in Hong Kong are working to find a quick test to diagnose the current strain of swine flu.


    New Zealand - Two school groups who recently visited Mexico are being tested for possible swine flu.
    One group of 10 has tested positive for Influenza A, making a swine flu diagnosis likely, while three others are still being tested.


    Europe - The European Commission is calling for an emergency meeting of Europe's health ministers 'as soon as possible' to consider how to protect against the spread of the swine flu virus.
    The Czech Government, which currently holds the EU Presidency, will be asked to organise the meeting.


    Russia - Russia has banned meat imports from Mexico and the five states in the United States where swine flu has been confirmed.
    US officials have said it is virtually impossible to contract swine flu from eating pork products, providing that the meat has been properly cooked.


    China - China has banned meat imports from Mexico and the five states in the United States where swine flu has been confirmed.
    US officials have said it is virtually impossible to contract swine flu from eating pork products, providing that the meat has been properly cooked.


    Thailand - Thailand has banned meat imports from Mexico and the five states in the United States where swine flu has been confirmed.

    I am shocked at how slow everyones reaction is.

    The second it was confirmed that it was Swine flu, they should of taken serious action.

    Looks like it's too late now.
