I really wish that the writers would invent their own enemies more often, rather than use existing ones all the time. I'm so bored of seeing how the Daleks are going to magically survive their complete extinction each series.
I'm really warming up to Matt Smith though. Tennant is good, but he was a *****, and Smith seems to be more of a badass Doctor. I'm really looking forward to the angels, it's been the only episode that's actually scared the crap out of me

I agree with the make up new enemies. I always avoid watching dalek and cyberman episodes from other series.

Enjoying this series Matt Smith is doing fine as The Doctor which i thought he would anyway, I couldn't see why people wrote him off before even seeing him.

Yesturday's CGI and other editing was very poor and cheesy but the first two very good.

I think it's a bit easy to be too over-critical of Doctor Who. The second episode with the floating city kept making me think how old fashioned it seemed to look. I mean old fashioned in terms of how a futuristic world would have been portrayed in programmes made in the past. But then again, they're probably trying not to abandon the original style and feel that die hard Doctor Who fans will love from the older series.

victory of the daleks = suckish.
the ending sucked
how the daleks survived sucked
how the daleks left sucked
how the daleks were resurrected sucks
it generally sucked imo.

and that doctor who game looks so rushed.

Is this ep 3? Haven't see it yet but Daleks are the most over-rated villain in any piece of fiction I have ever seen.

I think it was one of them shows which goes over what Doctor Who is about. A bit like what they had for Lost before it started this year.

I think the only reason daleks appeared in this series is to give a legiment reason for return next time and introduce new design. Also the daleks aren't really overrated, they're hilarious like hell.

Anyway a bit off topic but I found this series 2 outtake video and thought I'd share it as some of the bits aren't based on the story but are just piss abouts :L
