They don't? They always show loads of crap auditions then they're like "and just went we thought all hope was lost". It's just the way the show is presented

X FACTOR babe Cheryl Cole was in tears after discovering the new Susan Boyle.

Supermarket worker Mary Byrne takes to the stage in tomorrow night’s show to sing Shirley Bassey’s I Who Have Nothing.

And X Factor boss Simon Cowell believes the curvy 45-year-old could win the competition after stunning the judges in Dublin.

Wiping away tears, Cheryl, left, tells Mary, who comes from the Ballyfermot area of the Irish capital, she was stunned by the “incredible power and emotion” of her performance.

Cheryl, 27, adds: “That was my favourite audition in Dublin.”

Just like Britain’s Got Talent star Susan, 49, timid Mary takes to the stage and admits she has been too scared to ever try and showcase her voice.

But she blows the judges away with Simon, 50, telling her: “I think, no, I know, you have an amazing voice.

“I don’t know why you suffer from no confidence.”

Louis Walsh, 57, and guest judge Katy Perry, 25, are left speechless by her performance. Simon added: “I absolutely love her, she is genuinely a lovely woman with great talent and I hope the audience loves her too. She deserves this break.”

The music mogul has told pals that he thinks Mary, who works as a check-out girl in Tesco, could be a global sensation just like Susan.

A neighbour of Mary said: “She is over the moon. All she has wanted all her life is to realise her dream of being a singer.

“Entering the show has taken her that one step closer.”

Mary is the single mother of a grown-up daughter who also works part-time as a cleaner.

The popular Dubliner is already a local celebrity who has being gigging in pubs and clubs for 20 years.

She also performs a double act with her brother as part of a group called the Tommy Lee Experience.

Another neighbour said Mary had been an X Factor fan for years but lacked the courage to audition.

It is thought she was inspired to try by Susan’s massive success on BGT.

Catch Mary’s audition on The X Factor, tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV1.
I don't know if this is already posted, but here you go.
