He still should be given the choiceHow is it unrealistic anyway? It's possible and some may want to do it, just because it doesn't fit into your opinion doesn't mean his is unrealistic :/ I have friends that take their entire music collection around with them - some are DJs while some host events that include music, and only having to plug in a small device tends to work well for them. Beats taking an external HDD which one did for a while until he realised a decent sized laptop did the same thing
Back to the iPod Nano, what multi-touch gestures does it actually need? I can't think of any seeing as it is inferior in design to show videos and pictures, since the Nano appears to have a perfect square for a screen :/
And thinking on that, weren't mp3 player stoage meant to rise? It shrunk when they introdused flash drives, but I'm sure I heard or understood that the large storage found on the original iPod Classic were meant to be slowly returning? It's something that all MP3 player companies seem to be doing, not just Apple :/

I'm sorry, but a DJ that uses an iPod. Is this serious? He still should be given the choiceHow is it unrealistic anyway? I see you think all DJs are the professionals who play music in clubs or at weddings while mixing discs. I see no argument hereEver heard of the words "unofficial" or "unprofessional"? Look 'em up, particularly "unofficial names" and "unprofessional names" on Google. The word "DJ" reaches over into people who just so happen to be the ones in charge of music at a party - the one who has put their iPod, laptop, or plugging in their iPod into their laptop, into a mixer for the music. Simples. It's not just vinyls or CDs anymore, which I assume is what you mean.

No, lol. Obviously I understand for house partys etc. And no, I wasn't implying vinyl and CD. A lot of places use mp3s these days anyway.I see you think all DJs are the professionals who play music in clubs or at weddings while mixing discs. To be honest, using an mp3 player as the source of music at any event like a wedding is dreadful, the controls tend to be a downfall, but some people seem to manage to navigate an mp3 player, or be clever and make a playlistApparently MP3 players have replaced alot of DJs at personal events like weddings because of the recession. There's some eco-science behind all this

They said Ping is a social network for music--does this mean Paul Allen is going to sue Apple too![]()
