That's the point though, I'd understand if he was good looking but he actually isn't. And obviously most agree since he was in the bottom 2. That indie kid look just isn't hot anymore now that everyone is trying to do it

Frankie should have never made it past boot camp, never mind judges houses where by getting through lads with much better voices and personalities were sent home. Furthermore, its completely evident that Gary only put him through because he expected him to get all the teenage girl votes. Well its nice to see that smug grin wiped off his face after that comment from last night when asked if he was nervous about the public vote "I have no reason to be worried". Nothing wrong with confidence but that was just plain arrogant and cocky
But then again could that crazy women you posted earlier, if she had got through, would she have won. Never stood a chance.

This is my exact point. The fact that Frankie is cheeky, the whole tattoo thing, and so on, are factors why he got picked. Because x factor tries to say its simply about the voice, but its not.

I bet you if Goldie hadn't got kicked out, or even Kendro, and a load of people made her win, Simon would be peeved off big time, because I doubt either would make sales at all. I want it to happen, just to go, well you put the crap ones in knowing they are crap, for entertainment purposes only, so don't come crying when the public decide to go against you and make them win, and you loose money. The day may one day come.

They were never going to win. Neither will Frankie. But it backs up what I've been saying. Frankie is another controversial contestant due to the fact that - let's face it - he cannot sing. Facebook and Twitter were alight on Sunday with comments along the lines of "Frankie shouldn't be on the show", "Fankie can't sing". It's controversy for the programme and gets everyone talking, brings in more viewers etc. Hey, I hate the guy and I've been talking about him at work and uni but I know he's good for the show

Yeah which is good to a certain degree. The problem comes when certain people want try to spoil it for Simon by trying to make the crap singer win. While Simon and Syco might have loved the publicity wagner gave and the entertainment factor, he certainly didn't want him to win, remember the winner gets a record contract, while the others do to, the winner I believe gets more.

The people voting, well at least the majority of people voting for Wagner, would never in a million years buy his album, singles etc. That was the key point, people where trying to make him win, so that they'd release crap songs from a crap singer and in the end run Simon would loose money.

What Simon needs to ask is why they did it. Because Simon could make the show so much more respected. I know quite a few artists and big and small, the majority of people detest the x factor. This shouldn't be seen as a good thing. Why can't Simon make the x factor more, make real artists instead of manufactured. My key point is if he doesn't, who's to stop another Wagner incident. Like I said, if Goldie had got through, Louie probably would have kept her, and then the people behind the Wagner campaign would have a new person to do the same, and this time it could have succeeded.

Much better performance from Janet this week. I think it was a bit all over the place last week. Still not topped her audition, nor has she topped her performance of "Fix You" on the first week of live shows

I think Gary is being far too harsh on Sami.
