Maximum 400 posts. You get some for making threads or for making longer posts though.

400 but every word = 0.01 tokens in a post and you get 10 tokens for creating a thread

Nope, mods now enforce putting them in quote tags which doesn't get counted.

It seems the real way to game the system is to make a bunch of low effort threads like post what you're listening to and post in them on a daily basis ish.

Chris gave in on that one. The threads resurged in popularity when the restrictions were removed. Interestingly enough posting activity improved only for one week after. So clearly people found alternate (And more interesting) threads to post in.
