Grand Theft Auto is actually a term for a crime. Which is car stealing. And Halo is from a book that turned into a game thats turning into a movie. Same with Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell.

>.< What the hell am I thinking of then? Mortal Combat is the thing with Sub Zero, right? I thought the movie came out about '88.
There was a martial arts movie called "Mortal Combat" around that time... the game is called "Mortal Kombat" and had nothing to do with the movie spelled the other way. It was based off of earlier martial arts tournament movies like "Bloodsport". They even tried to get Jean-Claude Van Damme to play to role of Johnny Cage but he refused.Originally Posted by Ryan-Jesus
