Yes, its imported from 'Japan'

It is a special modified language console, so it is english that plays UMD's and basically everything.

Yep, because basically, its pony. Simple, a new version of the Gba SP, but micro-er ;p

Most Japanese imports play English games, 3 of my friends all had a Japanese PSP a year ago and still have them now playing English UMD's. Basically a tri-band console.
