Mostly like Rock
Rock---->Heavy Metal---->Power Metal----> Edguy, Hammerfall, Dragonforce, Kamelot, Stratovarius and Avantasia etc. Basically any power metal it's all incredibly similar.
Heavy Metal----> Progressive Death Metal---> Death and OPETH!!!
I like old school hip hop it cracks me up but this new stuff.. the videos are so alike it's annoying.
Plus there's about 2 or 3 lines in a freakin' song and it's a hit.. either that or they rip off a tune from an 80s song because they knows it's going to be a hit, then they put lyrics about women, and being a "gangsta" and doing heaps of drugs over it.

I like most other kinds of music too though, just not pop.
