Oh dear. The middle aged man was from Counter Strike apparently. Games on the internet or console can have a massive effect on people. You cannot really call them stupid for their addictions, it's just like people who smoke, it's very hard to give up. Games can effect people in ways of which young children are influenced to copy violent games.

It's strange how gaming can play such a huge role in someones life.

This is a tragic story, and it's one that I'm sure politicians will pick up on and use to get video games banned. Video games didn't cause the girls death, stupidity did. On the other post of this on another forum, most people were suggesting that a games disconnect you after a few hours and won't let you on for another hour, which is a good idea.

I think it is a good idea to disconnect people after a few hours of playing a game, it messes you up, it will help prevent head aches and other stuff linked to them.
