Should be holding guns with two hands.. also try to have some in different positions possibly a sniper lying down, one sending the troops forward(hand signal)
possibly one wounded being attended to by field surgeons.

I have them with their hands on the front part of their guns.
If you would prefer to see that.
Your other ideas are great and I may use them

only bad thing that i have seen so far is the hair on the back right, it looks like he has DragonBall Z hair

Thats cool for the rememberance of the war. And I dont like the way the gun meets the arm/pit bit. Or just make it a bit behind the arm so it looks longer. But very rememberal.

They arent meant to be guns as big as like AK 47s

2. In dangerous terrirtory, ready to fire, other soldiers are wounded
3. Modeled off Halo 2, Not all wear helmets
4. Modeled off Halo 2 weapons (Not necessarily a weapon off there either)
5. Their guns arent down because they alert. They arent to their shoulder because they arent in combat right now
