the Film is In Your Face the Book is book

but for an Adaptation its very good!!

the story in the book is hes trying to get to his family... in the film he has half his family!

plus the opening scene in the book is one of the most known around the world...

I saw the book is good!

I'm not one for American and incredibly predictable movies so I thought this film was an absolute waste of time.
The book is interesting, seeing as a few of the words I came across are basically obsolete today.
Some parts of the film are pretty cool, effects-wise but the story is just boring as hell.
Jeff Wayne's musical version of War Of The World's is great.
