Its pretty easy to hold, I hold it with my left hand and use the pen with my right. =]

i just put in on a table and play!
well...i dunno about other games but my nintendogs game is quite easy toplay..well...it doesnt requiremuch useof buttons...juts your voice and your stylus (the pen thingy)
