I really think you need to sit down and have a man to man chat with him. Have you told him the dangers ? He really needs to know what he is getting into and depending on his age you might want to tell his parents. Also

His parents know and dont do anything, he is 14/15.

Right now all you can do is be a really good friend and stand by him making sure he does not get hurt. Try and get him to stop drinking as much but to be honest it is up to him. Just stand by him ok ?.
