Actually when you are sent a dragon from the catalogue to your hand it shows 'silver' on the little icon, however any other colour in your hand.

Same with all different coloured furni like plasto, birdbaths etc.

when i had a green dragon , sum1 sent it me in a present and when i opened it, it showed a picture of a silver dragon but it was a green dragon
