My name was Michael before, but my name is Aaron now, my parents changed it for me.

Apparently you have to go to a solicitor, and start an oath to him, and then he would go to the marridge, birth and death department to get it changed, although it will take months before they confirm it.

Also I don't think you can do it without a solicitor.
