It's not really, they're only paying £5m up front, and paying the other 7 over the next few years. Still a lot of money though..

In all fairness, footballers in general are paid way to much. £5,000-£100,000 a week to do what? entertain and play a game. And paying £12million for one person is crazy. i think 12 mil is a little to much for arsenal, but of course we want the young players, and for only 16 he'll probley turn out as a good player for arsenal in the future. i dont really no it if was a good deal or not, ill say in about 3 years time ;P
