I appreciate your point Ryan, but you need 25 posts before rep counts on people. And you need a rep-altering power. But in accordance with your kindness, I'll give you a rep, and explain a bit about it.
(sorry if a bit off topic)

If you see to the right hand side of the screen next to my name I have 1 green square and above that it's got a rep-altering power of 2? That means every time I rep you, good or bad, it will either add 2 or take 2 from your reputation points you already have.

If you have no reputation points and someone bad repped you, then that means you would no longer have a green square, meaning you have mostly good rep points, but a red one, or grey.
