    I'd go for a more simple approach, start with a simple site that you want to make (for example a blog) and then use that. For a blog layout use block colours with some shadow, and just straight shapes.

    Hey,

    Thats what i'm working on at the moment but it's only going to have two images and just be a total CSS styled site.

    Inspired by a lot of sites and inspired by Jay off www.Twod.co.uk to do it.

    Dude, No offence but, I dont think its that good ;P I mean its basically loads of circle edged boxes. Allthough you wouldnt even want to see my first layout =[ It was terrible...
